On September 12, Starbucks China introduced Golden Americano in six images, highlighting its light, fine foam and layers of golden texture. The post teased September 15; it did not say the drink was already on sale in Chinese stores.

On the morning of September 13, Starbucks Indonesia outlined a BCA offer for a single food and beverage purchase of at least Rp100,000. Eligible QRIS or BCA credit card payments earn one Tall handcrafted drink. Receipts cannot be combined; Reserve, pour-over and promotional drinks are excluded. Starbucks Rewards members may still scan to earn Stars.
