Japan launches the My Customize Bar self-service condiment station

Starting September 2, Starbucks Japan is introducing My Customize Bar at stores nationwide, excluding some locations. Customers can freely combine five toppings to add sweet-and-salty, spiced, or crunchy notes to purchased drinks or food. The officially stated “up to 5.27 million combinations” is a theoretical figure calculated by multiplying the drink customization options by the condiment-bar options.
