Starbucks Stories Japan · 2026年10月27日Japan’s Yanaka Gotenzaka joins ArtSticker to establish the P&PP art award, with entries opening on October 27
Starbucks Japan and ArtSticker announce the establishment of the “P&PP ART AWARD by STARBUCKS Yanaka Gotenzaka & ArtSticker,” with entries opening on October 27 to support the next generation of artists. The award has three core criteria: Piece, the independence of the work; People, the building of relationships; and Place, dialogue with a location. Alongside expressive power and originality, it considers the creative process and the work’s relationship with people and space. In addition to members of the art world, the final judging will include the store manager, baristas and visiting customers of the Yanaka Gotenzaka coffee and art gallery. Winners will create new work through a production support program that includes dialogue with the judges. The store opened in March 2026 and has previously collaborated with ArtSticker to exhibit 89 works by 24 groups of artists.
