Princi chef Takeshi Matsuda competes internationally; two panettones launch in Japan November 2

Princi Japan chef Takeshi Matsuda represented Japan at the Panettone World Cup held in Tokyo in October 2026, competing with chefs from 11 countries. His Panettone Classico and chocolate-chestnut Panettone Cioccolato Marrone go on sale at selected stores in Japan from November 2. Both are 20 cm in diameter, with tax-inclusive takeaway prices of ¥7,500 and ¥8,500 respectively; some stores sell only the classic version. The official Japanese online store began advance sales at 20:00 on October 30. Items may be unavailable or sell out early. The announcement specifically notes that the retail products differ from those entered in the competition.
