Where the collection began
Ten years ago, she bought her first cup at the Al Hamra Mall store in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. She subsequently visited around 40 countries with her husband and also asked friends and family to add new pieces to her collection.
Cities and connections
She particularly likes the landmark illustrations and local details of the Been There series. The cups not only document the places she has visited but also remind her of the people who gave them to her; next, she hopes to travel around Europe by train and complete the UK series.
