Earning Miles and Double Stars
Eligible purchases exclude taxes, tips, gift cards, and alcoholic beverages. Members with linked accounts will continue to receive the double Stars benefit on travel days when they have a scheduled Delta flight. Refer to the original program terms for the specific applicable rules.
Flight Requirements and Grace Period
Existing linked members generally must have taken an eligible Delta flight within the past 12 months; a one-time grace period is being offered through October 5, 2026. Newly linked accounts are eligible to earn miles during their first 12 months, after which the applicable flight requirements must be met.
